Koestler Exhibition 2008 at the Royal Festival Hall
|
The Koestler Trust is known for its work with prisoners. It gives awards and exhibits and sells artwork by prisoners, detainees and secure patients. In September 2008 the Trust held its biggest exhibition of adult and young offenders' art at the Royal Festival Hall. The Trust received over 5,000 entries for the 2008 show and The Pilgrim Trust has offered a grant to enable the Koestler Trust to improve the way it receives the art works and to bring curatorial skills to the unpacking, storing and hanging of the exhibits. |
